The Air Jordan 11 Bred 2019 is one of the most popular colorways ever to be produced on the iconic silhouette, and the sneaker’s OG styling is going to be returning for the holiday 2019 season. First worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996 NBA Playoffs, the sneaker helped him earn another championship and NBA Finals MVP
2019 model has surfaced online, revealing the silhouette’s low-cut patent leather construction, paired with ballistic nylon and leather accents. Distinct details consist of a red Jumpman logo across the collar section, alongside the number “23” emblazoned on the heels, instead of the OG “45,” which contradicts early reports suggesting that it will be appearing.
It’s even completed by “23” hits on the heel instead of the “45” embellishment that had occasionally been rumored early in its design process. And of course, a little ’90s flair is added by the tan, red, and black box, a proper resting place for the noble shoes that MJ captured his first post-retirement ring in. Feast your eyes on these beauties once again below, and stay tuned for more info as the Air Jordan 11 Bred‘s release date of December 14th date draws closer.
To date, the classic pair has been re-released on three separate occasions—first in 2001, as part of a CDP in 2008 and lastly in 2012. Now, the word is that the 2019 version will be the closest to the original, most notably sporting the high-cut patent leather overlay along the base.
The ‘Bred’ Air Jordan 11 is expect to release at select Jordan Brand retailers and online at Nike.com on December 14th, 2019. The retail price is set at $220. Once more information is available we will make sure to update you.
